"Escape Room Designer – Kids Edition" Contest Regulations

  • Location: Online, on the official Trapped Escape Room website: facebook.com/trapped.escapegame
  • The "Escape Room Designer – Kids Edition" competition is an initiative dedicated to children, designed to stimulate their imagination and creativity. Participants are invited to create a drawing that illustrates their ideal escape room. 
  • Participation is free., and the winner will be designated exclusively based on public voting, expressed through likes, on the Trapped Escape Room Facebook page.

Contest prizes:

🎖 First Prize:  O free birthday party at Trapped for the winning child and a group of up to 9 friends (maximum 10 children in total).
🎖 Second Prize: A game Catan Big Box, offered by our partner Ideal Board Games.

🎖 Third Prize: Un free game for 6 people in one of the Trapped rooms, the location Vasile Lascar 

SECTION 1. COMPETITION ORGANIZER

(1) The competition "Escape Room Designer - Kids Edition" (hereinafter referred to as the “Competition”) is organized by SC REILIN TREE SRL (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer"), a Romanian legal entity, with its registered office in Mărgăritarului Entrance No. 2, Otopeni, Ilfov County, registered with the Trade Register under no. J23 / 1104 / 2014, having CUI RO31699074Contact email: info@trapped.ro

(2) The competition will be held in accordance with the provisions of this Official Regulations, which is mandatory for all participants.

(3) By participating in the competition, all participants declare that they have read, understood and accepted full terms and conditions of this Regulation.

SECTION 2. LEGAL BASIS

(1) The competition is organized in accordance with the provisions Government Ordinance No. 99/2000 on the marketing of products and services on the market.

SECTION 3. VENUE AND DURATION OF THE COMPETITION

(1) The competition is held exclusively online, on the official Facebook page facebook.com/trapped.escapegame, in period June 1–30, 2025, in accordance with the provisions of these Official Regulations.

(2) If the Organizer decides to change the duration of the Contest (by shortening or extending it), this will be announced publicly and the Official Regulations will be updated through a addendum.

SECTION 4. OFFICIAL REGULATIONS

(1) By participating in this Campaign, the participants agree to respect and comply with all the provisions, terms and conditions of these Official Regulations.

(2) At the Organizer's sole discretion, the Contest may be publicized for the purpose of informing the public, including through advertising and/or informational materials. The information such materials may contain will be interpreted in accordance with the provisions of these Regulations.

(3) The Organizer reserves the right to amend the Regulations during the Promotion, having the obligation to officially notify the public, in the same manner as the initial information was made. Such amendments will be made public at least 24 hours before their entry into force.

SECTION 5. RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE

(1) The following may participate in the competition: children between the ages of 7 and 16, provided that you have consent of parents or legal guardians and domicile in Romania. Participation is individually.

(2) I can't participate. the following categories of people are eligible to participate in the contest: employees of the Organizer or their first and second degree relatives.

(3) The organizer reserves the right to restrict participation persons who attempt to defraud the competition, as well as to invalidate entries suspected of irregularities.

(4) Participation in this competition involves full, express and unequivocal knowledge and acceptance of the provisions of these Official Regulations.

(5) Eligible participants are considered all those who comply with the stages of the Competition and which cumulatively meet all the conditions mentioned in this Regulation.

SECTION 6. COMPETITION MECHANISM

(1) To participate in this Contest, any person who meets the conditions described in Section 5 will be automatically entered into the competition, provided that it complies with cumulative the following steps:

  • Fits into the age category 7–16 years old;
  • Make a original drawing which illustrates the ideal escape room, imagined by the child;
  • Write a handwritten explanatory text, in which he describes the idea behind the drawing;
  • Se take a photo holding the drawing in your hand, for the purpose of verifying authenticity (the photo will not be published);
  • Complete, together with the parent/legal guardian, Official Registration Form (Google Forms)
  • Upload all requested materials: drawing, verification photo, and explanatory text.
  • Each participant will submit only one work.

(2) Competition calendar

    • Stage 1 – Registration period: June 1 – 24, 2025
    • Stage 2 – Publication of papers: June 25, 2025
    • Stage 3 – Voting period: June 25 – 30, 2025
  • Stage 4 – Winner Announcement: July 1, 2025 

(3) Entries that do not meet the following conditions will not be considered., and the Organizer reserves the right to disqualify participants or request additional confirmations:

  • registration has been completed outside the specified period in the calendar;
  • the registration was made by methods other than Official Registration Form;
  • it is found fraud attempts, use of unauthorized equipment/software or violation of the Regulation;
  • the requested data is incomplete or erroneous;
  • the participant registered more than one job;
  • the work is not original, it is made with the help of AI or by a person other than the participating child.

(4) All works submitted by correctly and completely completing the Official Form will be published in a dedicated album on the page facebook.com/trapped.escapegame, On June 25 2025, with the start of the voting period.

(5) By completing the form, the parent/legal guardian expresses their consent for Trapped to use DRAWING, the child's first name and explanatory text, for the purposes of promoting the contest. Personal data will be used exclusively for organizing the contest and will not be shared with third parties.

(6) Voting period:
 It takes place between June 25 - 30, 2025.
 For a vote to be considered valid, the person voting must:

📌 Only votes received by June 30, 23:59 PM, will be taken into account.

(7) Announcing the winners:

The list of winning works will be published on June 30 2025, on Trapped's official Facebook page: facebook.com/trapped.escapegame

SECTION 7. WINNER DESIGNATION

(1) After the end of the voting phase, which takes place during the period June 25–30, 2025 (until the time 23:59), the work with the highest number of valid votes (likes) will be appointed WINNING.

(2) For a vote to be considered valid, the following conditions must be met:

  • The person voting must give Like/Follow Trapped Escape Room official page: facebook.com/trapped.escapegame;
  • To grant Like of the favorite work, within the contest album.

     

(3) The organizer reserves the right to verify the authenticity of the votes and the originality of the submitted works. In case of justified suspicions, the Organizer may invalidate votes or disqualify participants.

(4) The winner will be announced on July 1 2025, through it official post on the Trapped Escape Room Facebook page.

SECTION 8. COMPETITION PRIZES

(1) To the extent that all the conditions set forth in these Regulations are met, the following prizes will be awarded:

First prize will be awarded to the work that obtained the highest number of valid votes (likes) during the voting period.
The prize: O free birthday party at Trapped for the winning child and a group of up to 9 friends (maximum 10 children in total). The event will take place at one of the Trapped locations, at the winner's choice.

Not included in the prize:

  • consumption (cake, snacks, drinks);
  • catering services (pizza or food) or other extra options, which can be added for a fee, depending on the preferences discussed with the legal guardian.

If you want to organize a party for more than 10 children, the difference in cost will be paid separately, according to standard rates.

The organizational details will be established in agreement with the parent/legal guardian of the winning child. The date of the event will be chosen depending on Trapped locations availability.
For effective planning, it is recommended contacting the Trapped team at least 30 days in advance the desired date for the party.

Second prize will be granted the work ranked second according to the total number of votes.
The prize: The game Catan Big Box, offered by the partner Ideal Board Games.

Prize III will be granted the work ranked third in the public vote.
The prize: Un free game for 6 people in one of the Trapped rooms, the location Vasile Lascar.

(2) Prizes cannot be replaced. with other goods or their equivalent in money.
In the event of explicit refusal by a winner or the impossibility of its validation according to these Regulations, the winner will loses the right to award the prize, without the Organizer being obliged to offer an alternative prize.

(3) In the event of identifying persons who have influenced or facilitated the winning of undue prizes, the Organizer reserves the right to initiate legal action, based on available evidence.

(4) Winners I cannot request the change. the characteristics of the prizes, their replacement with other goods or the payment of the equivalent in cash.

SECTION 9. DESIGNATION, VALIDATION OF WINNERS AND DELIVERY OF PRIZES

(1) Winners will be announced on June 30 2025, via an official post on the Trapped Escape Room Facebook page: facebook.com/trapped.escapegame

(2) After the results are displayed, the winners will be be contacted by a representative of the Organizer, via the contact details provided in the registration form.

(3) If a winner does not respond within 5 business days from the sending of the message, although the Organizer has made all necessary efforts to contact, that participant will be invalid, losing the right to award the prize, without any compensation. In this situation, it will be restore the ranking based on the number of votes, and the next ranked work will be subject to the same validation procedure. If even after this process the prize cannot be awarded according to the regulations, The organizer reserves the right to no longer award the prize., this remaining unassigned.

 

(4) At the time of contact, winners will be provided with all necessary information regarding the prize won, the validation procedure and the steps to take possession of the prize. 

(5) For validation, winners will be contacted by email and/or phone, and the Organizer's representative will request the following data: Name and surname, Date of birth, Full address, Phone number. The Organizer will inform the winners about the the purpose of collecting and processing personal data, which are necessary for the validation and awarding of prizes. The data will be managed in accordance with these Regulations and in full compliance with applicable data protection legislation.

(6) The prizes awarded are nominal and can be claimed only by the officially designated winners. Right to prizes cannot be surrendered or transferred to other people.

SECTION 10. PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

(1) By participating in the contest, participants express their consent to the processing of personal data, in accordance with these Regulations. The organizer processes the data provided (name, surname, telephone number, e-mail, date of birth, address) for the purpose of conducting the contest, validating participants and awarding prizes.

(2) Providing this data is mandatory for participation. Refusal to provide it will make it impossible to register or receive the prize.

(3) The data will not be transmitted to third parties, except for collaborators involved in the conduct of the contest or cases where the law requires this.

(4) The organizer complies with the provisions EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) regarding data protection and undertakes to maintain their confidentiality, using them exclusively for the purposes mentioned.

(5) The data will be kept for the duration necessary to conduct the competition and, if applicable, for the period provided for by financial and accounting legislation. After this period, the data will be deleted, except in situations where consent is requested for further processing.

(6) Through this regulation, participants are informed of their rights regarding personal data.

(7) Participants benefit from the following: rights:

  • the right of access to data;
  • the right to rectification or deletion;
  • the right to restrict processing;
  • the right to object, including to marketing;
  • the right not to be subject to automated decision-making;
  • the right to data portability;
  • the right to file a complaint with the ANSPDCP or in court.

SECTION 11. LIABILITY

(1) The Organizer will award the prizes to the participants in accordance with these Official Regulations. If it is found that a winner has not complied with the conditions of participation, the Organizer reserves the right to cancel the right to the prize, without owing compensation.

(2) If non-compliance with the regulation is identified after the award ceremony, the winner is obliged to return the prize value and any expenses incurred by the Organizer.

(3) The organizer may take any necessary measures in the event of attempted fraud, abuse or actions that affect the conduct of the contest or its image. Participants who try to influence the result will be automatically remove, and if it is proven that they have obtained an undue prize, the Organizer reserves the right to request legal actions, based on existing evidence.

SECTION 14. TERMINATION OF THE COMPETITION

(1) The competition may be interrupted or cancelled only in the event of a force majeure event, including the impossibility of continuing its implementation for reasons beyond the Organizer's control. In such situations, the Organizer and/or the Agency are exempt from any liability regarding the failure to fulfill the obligations provided for in these Regulations, during the period in which the force majeure event affects the conduct of the contest, in accordance with art. 1351 of the Civil Code.

(2) In the event of force majeure, the Organizer is obliged to inform the participants within 5 working days from the occurrence of the respective event, through official means of communication. 

SECTION 14. DISPUTES

(1) Any dispute arising between the Organizer and the participants in this Competition will be resolved amicablyIf this is not possible, disputes will be resolved by competent courts in Romania, according to the legislation in force.

(2) Complaints regarding the conduct of the competition can be sent to the following address: info@trapped.ro, within maximum 24 hours from the end of the competition. After the expiry of this term, no further appeal will be considered by the Organizer. 

SECTION 15. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

(1) The participants are solely responsible for the data provided, their accuracy and for any consequences arising from registration and participation in the contest.

(2) The organizer reserves the right to monitor the conduct of the competition and to cancel any registration suspected of fraud or non-compliance with the regulation.

(3) The organizer does not answer for:

  • errors in the data provided by participants;
  • inability to contact or validate winners due to incorrect data;
  • delays caused by suppliers or postal services;
  • technical issues not related to the Trapped platform;
  • complaints subsequent to the signing of the minutes of handing over-receiving the prize.

     

(4) Any appeals can be submitted within 24 hours from the winner's announcement. Entries received later will not be considered.

(5) Participants accept all the final decisions of the Organizer, including those regarding the winners and changes to the competition schedule. The organizer may disqualify any participant in the event of non-compliant behavior or sabotage attempts.
